The 2019 TASC Outstanding Achievement Awards were presented by Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, AC, Governor of Tasmania at Government House on Monday, 3 February 2020. The awards were held to celebrate the stellar Academic and VET accomplishments of Tasmanian senior secondary students in 2019. The ceremony clearly reflected the significance of the occasion and it was delightful for the students and their families to celebrate their achievements together.

Congratulations to our four VET students Abbie Chatwin, Joel Humphreys, Taylah Jelfs-Quinlan and Grace Marxson who were in the top VET awards.  These students demonstrated excellence in a VET program and successfully achieved the TCE, including completing a significant amount of VET subjects.

The Outstanding Academic Achievement Award recognises students who achieved an ATAR of 99.5 or above while completing their senior secondary studies.  Outstanding achievement were awarded to Kavija Ratnayke and Akindu Wijayasinghe who were in the top 30 ATAR; congratulations to you both and good luck studying Medicine at UTAS.
