On the last day of Term 2 to conclude the celebrations of NAIDOC Week 2022, Marist Regional College celebrated cultural awareness by wearing floral attire to show support for our neighbours in the Torres Strait. The Aboriginal Student Committee and staff were overwhelmed by the support from the College community who showed up in their best floral wear. Thank you to Year 8 student Millie Barlow’s aunty and grandmother for providing the gorgeous floral backdrop for our photos. We hope this could become a regular event for the College to embrace.
