Dear Parents and Guardians,
What an incredible two days we’ve had at our Athletics Carnival! The energy, enthusiasm, and school spirit on display were truly inspiring. Our students gave their all—whether sprinting down the track, competing in field events, or cheering on their peers from the sidelines. Participation was outstanding, and it was wonderful to see students challenging themselves, supporting each other, and embracing the joy of healthy competition. A huge thank you to our dedicated staff and volunteers for making this event such a success.
Year 7 Enrolment Evening – A Fantastic Turnout!
We were delighted to welcome over 400 prospective students and their families to our Year 7 Enrolment Information Evening. The positive energy was palpable as families explored the College through an engaging Scavenger Hunt, allowing them to discover different learning areas while speaking with teachers about specific subjects. The evening provided a great opportunity for families to ask questions and experience the welcoming community that makes our college so special. A reminder that spaces for Year 7 are limited, so if you are interested in enrolling, please ensure applications are submitted by 2 May.
Uniform Expectations
We are proud of the way most of our students wear their uniform with respect and pride—thank you for supporting this important aspect of our college identity. However, we have noticed that some students are not adhering to the uniform policy, and from next week, we will be reinforcing expectations. Parents will be notified if their child is in breach of the policy, and there may be consequences for repeated violations, particularly regarding excess jewellery, skirt lengths, and the requirement to wear blazers to and from school.
Additionally, students must not wear their sports uniform to and from school unless they are participating in a full-day event or leaving directly for an MRC-organised sporting event. If your child requires assistance with uniform requirements, they should speak with their Year Level Coordinator.
Insight SRC Survey – Your Voice Matters
Thank you to the 54 parents who have already completed the Insight SRC Survey. Your feedback is invaluable, as I will be comparing this year’s results with last year’s to help shape future decisions for the College. If you haven’t yet completed the survey, I encourage you to do so—your input helps us continue to improve and strengthen our school community. The survey is accessible until Friday, 4 April.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and I look forward to another fantastic week ahead!
