Recently, the Senior College Legal Studies class participated in an online session with the Tasmanian Parliamentary Education Office. The session gave students the opportunity to view footage of the Tasmanian Parliamentarians bringing theory to life and brought about a greater appreciation for the fact that the Tasmanian Parliament is Representative, Responsible and Democratic.

To conclude the session, the students took part in a role play of an Online Bullying Amendment Bill. The class were grateful for the opportunity to ask questions and have responses provided by Parliamentary Educator, Colette Goyne. Colette, along with the class, would like to thank readers for the time they put aside to vote and thereby assist in the maintenance of a democratic society.
