The rubble has been cleared and over the Christmas break, the maintenance team have completed the first phase of building in the Music area. To date, we now have:
- a custom designed Midi Keyboard Computer lab – a first for Catholic Education in Tasmania – which connects directly to our Recording Studio.
- a custom designed storage area.
- a designated guitar practice and storage room.
- a recording capable, sound engineered band space with cable nook; and
- a small servery for performances.
Other additions include LED downlights, acoustic roofing, paint and new carpet. We are very excited at the prospective improvement to student learning this work has created and we look forward to the completion of Phase 2 – the performance space!
