It has been a privilege for me, working with our dedicated staff, wonderful students, and supportive families in 2024. School holidays are a great time to rest and recuperate after a busy year. A time to reflect on the things which are important, including family, friends, and some you-time!
Looking back over the year, it really is a time to celebrate all the fabulous achievements at Marist Regional College. My favourite part was being able to present the Values Awards at our College assemblies. It is sensational seeing so many students and staff displaying the values of responsibility, hospitality, compassion, respect, and justice in their daily lives and being acknowledged for their actions and words.
Happy Christmas! I like Christmas, for me, it is the most wonderful time of the year!
I like Christmas movies, Love Actually, Home Alone 1, The Grinch, Die Hard etc. I guess I like a bit of escapism and things coming good at the end, suspending all judgement, sitting back and relaxing. Seems like an excellent plan for the summer.
I take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and all that is good for the New Year.
