Questacon visited Marist on Thursday 30 March and engaged over 90 keen scientists from Years 7–9.

Questacon is a National Science and Technology Centre based in Canberra. They often go on the road offering engagement of science, technology and innovation across Australia. We had the pleasure of Brianna and Thanuri from Questacon, hosting our students with engaging and fun science investigations.

Year 7 participated in a workshop that was based on creating a device that could combine doing their least favourite chore with their favourite hobby at the same time. Year 8’s and 9’s created solutions to real world problems. This was based on bees and the threats they are facing.
