Last Friday, our Senior College Art students travelled to Launceston to view exhibitions and find inspiration for their art-making. They visited the Queen Victoria Art Gallery and Museum where the 2022 ArtRage exhibition is currently on display. Students were able to view samples of work from the 2022 Visual Art cohort across Tasmania.

We were proud to see some artworks exhibited that were created by past and present Marist Regional College students. What a fantastic source of motivation and inspiration for our current students! As well as viewing other exhibitions without the QVAGM, students travelled to Evandale to see the 2022 Glover Prize exhibition. These art spaces showed a range of work and styles. It was fantastic to listen to our students discussing and analysing the artworks using their developing knowledge of art practices and language.
