We were treated to a large gathering of 100 plus family and friends congregating in the Art studios to view the Senior Art students’ exhibition, Unwritten Thoughts on the evening of Tuesday 1 November.
Showcasing their work were sixteen Visual Art 2, Art Production 3 and Art studio Practice students working in a variety of mediums including Ceramics, Digital Art and Media, Photography (both colour and black and white), Painting (acrylic and watercolour), Mixed- Media sculptures and VR.
Students must be congratulated on the broad themes they researched, planned and designed work to represent their artistic intentions. Evident is a strong sense of imagination and connection to youth culture, family, fantasy and historical perspectives, the environment and fragmentation of our eco-systems and the importance of animals in our lives.
Unwritten Thoughts will be on display for the month of November if you wish to view the fabulous work on show. Please make a time for a tour of the studio spaces.
Congratulations again, Senior Art students.
