STEM Club is hosted by Marist Regional College every Thursday afternoon from 3-5pm. Students from across all Year groups are welcome to attend. Club members are currently completing an inquiry project into an area of personal interest. Club starts with the sharing of afternoon tea and conversation time. Then, students gear-up in laboratory apparel and get down to work. Below is a photographic account of the work being done by students on their projects. When completed, projects will be entered into the Tasmanian Science Talent Search where they could win state awards and be selected to contest the National BHP Student STEM Awards.
