STEM Club students are trialling practical procedures as they set their project topics for the Science Fair in August. Nate (Year 7) is researching the efficiency of motors, while Ravindu and Cooper (Year 9) are trying to create the bounciest Latex ball. Chrissie is investigating the laboratory conditions that produce the best Elephant’s toothpaste and Reuben is finding the best food source for his Tasmanian Slime Moulds. Other members are yet to finalise their topics, so watch this space for more details!
Note: 2-3 places are available in STEM Club 2025, held 3-5pm Thursday afternoons. Afternoon tea is provided. Members need to be collected at 5pm. Contact Ms Burke (aburke@mrc.tas.edu.au) if interested.
