Over the past few years, we have been reviewing the timing of our Senior College exams. After gaining feedback from teaching staff, investigating, and discussing with other schools, as well as noting the impact our previous schedule can have on students, we have made the decision to change the timing of our Senior College Mid-Year Exams to be held over Week 8 and Week 9 of Term 2.
This will allow students to have a weekend break between the exam period and will also create greater equity for our teaching staff with the marking process.
Thus, Senior College Mid-Year Exams will be held from:
Term 2 Week 8 – Wednesday 18 June, Thursday 19 June, Friday 20 June
Term 2 Week 9 – Monday 23 June, Tuesday 24 June
Normal classes continue from Wednesday 25 June
This timing will also allow Senior College teachers to provide reports in Week 1 of Term 3 (one week earlier than our previous timings, and Parent-Teacher evenings in Term 3 will be held a week earlier in Week 2).
If anyone has any queries regarding these dates or the change, please do not hesitate to contact me.
