A big thank you to the following businesses for supporting our students on Work Placement during the Term 3 holidays.  And, although many placements were not a mandatory requirement this year (due tCovid 19), the following students took the opportunity to gain a better understanding about their chosen career pathway:

Taeya at Smithton Veterinary Service with Craig Dwyer

Bronte at Red Eagle Enterprises with Shirley Berger

Aydan at Wings Wildlife Park with Christina Diprose

Work Placement is a valuable and integral part of a vocational qualification and students benefit from segmenting their theoretical work into practical understandings.  Many students transfer into part/full time work or a traineeship. The College continues to work with a large pool of employers along the North West Coast who repeatedly support and value our placement program.
