On Monday 26 June, two urban planning professionals from GHD, Kate Reilly and Cath O’Brien, visited the College to meet with 38 Year 7 students to discuss their ideas for improving our town. The Urban Plan for the City of Burnie is currently being updated and the ideas that students put forward in this session will be considered for the design.
This was a fantastic opportunity for students to share their ideas and opinions in a real-world context and learn about the process involved in urban planning and design.
