This week, Year 8 students completed a practice test for the Religious Literacy Assessment. This assessment provides a “point in time” snapshot of students’ religious knowledge and understanding. All Catholic schools in Tasmania participate in this online assessment.
In Week 4 of this term, Year 8 students will complete the Religious Literacy Assessment. It will consist of 40 randomly selected questions. Each class will participate in the Religious Literacy Assessment during their timetabled Religion lesson on the following dates:
– 8A: Tuesday 15 August, Day 7, Period 1.
– 8B: Tuesday 15 August, Day 7, Period 1.
– 8C: Monday 14 August, Day 6, Period 5
– 8D: Tuesday 15 August, Day 7, Period 3.
– 8E: Monday 14 August, Day 6, Period 6
– 8F: Monday 14 August, Day 6, Period 5.
As with all assessments, we encourage students to approach the online assessment with a calm and positive mindset.
