It’s a fast start to sport for Term 1 with plenty of events coming up on the calendar.
NSATIS Basketball and Tennis both start on Wednesday of week 1. Sign-ups for both sports have been solid, and squads/teams will be confirmed shortly to selected students. First round games for both sports were away against Scotch Oakburn College. The teams went 2 wins for 2 with the 1sts team winning 92-69 (Jayce Little 18 points) and the 2nds holding on for a tight 55-53 win (John Morgan 19 points).

Other major Term 1 events include the MRC Swimming Carnivals (week 3): Junior on Thursday 23 February, Senior on Friday 24 February. MRC Athletics Carnivals (week 5): Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 March, with 3000m races taking place the following week.
The MSA Basketball trip is returning, with two MRC teams travelling to Adelaide in week 8 to represent the College. NSATIS/SATIS Athletics events bookend Term 1 and selected students will receive information about this once the carnivals have been completed.
High School Touch Football is also starting again for the second half of the summer season, and any interested students should contact Mrs Scott.
