As we transition into the colder months, it’s time to wear our winter uniforms once again.

As we embark on the winter term, let us embrace the tradition of wearing our winter uniform with pride and purpose. Let us remember that it is not merely a piece of clothing, but a symbol of our identity as members of the Marist Regional College community. Together, let us uphold the values of respect, unity, and excellence that define us, as we navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

” When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”

It’s all about perspective… here’s hoping this term brings many moments of happiness for our students.

Term 2 is here! We started our term with a Middle Years Assembly reminding students about a few important topics. Both Year 7 and 8 students were attentive and demonstrated respect throughout the assembly. Wearing the winter uniform correctly and with pride was top of the list. The process for students who are out of uniform was also mentioned to ensure clarity for all. Often, as we become busy, we forget, so it is essential we have positive reminders.

Let’s try to change the way we look at things throughout the term and focus on the good. I often default to using quotes that resonate with me, and this one reminds me to have a positive mindset and be grateful for all I have.
