In Week 11 of Term 2, Year 8 students participated in a week-long Japanese Cultural Matsuri Festival. This linked to our Term 2 Global Connections unit “Bushido Heroes” which explores the historical time period of Shogunate Japan. All subject areas were invited to participate and run Japanese-themed activities during their lessons.
It was great to see such a variety of activities in Art, Maths, HPE, Food, Global Connections Fibres, Religion, Languages, and Pastoral Care.
