Congratulations to our High School Netball teams who qualified for the State Netball Championships. It was certainly a step-up from the regional events, with MRC teams finding it tough going against quality opponents. However, the teams can certainly hold their heads high at their efforts. The 7/8 Boys and the 7/8 Girls finished in 6th place, with the 9/10 Girls making a semi-final and finishing equal 3rd (no playoff). All the best to the BNA Spring Roster teams that have finals upcoming over the next two weekends, with several MRC teams in contention to make Grand Finals.
To round out a busy sporting year, we are left with only the Schools Triathlon (23 Nov), High School Basketball Championships (25/26 Nov) and NSATIS T20 Cricket (27/28 Nov).
