The MRC Swimming Carnival was held at the Burnie Aquatic Centre in Week 8.

Two big days saw students compete in an array of competitive and social swimming events, with the weather being challenging for the Junior Carnival on the Monday. There were some excellent individual performances from a number of students, but it wasn’t until the final race of the carnival where the Colin Senior College relay team broke the only record for the event in the 4 x 50 Freestyle event.

A big thank you to the cohort of staff involved in delivering the event for our students. A further acknowledgement to the parents who came to support their children, as well as a significant thank you to the Burnie Aquatic Centre and staff for hosting us.

Congratulations to the Champion House, Frayne.
